Good news from J, just as The Bun and I left Geneva: our application for Apartment 1 was approved! Now for the rest of the paperwork (reviewing the lease - in French - and signing it), getting some minor repairs done, paying for the furniture and working out delivery dates, so on and so forth. Everyone woke up bright and early today to go for The Bun's school visit. It's out in the suburban countryside and we took the bus there since we don't have a car yet. The school is located right near the lake and on a clear day Mont Blanc can be seen.

The past few days in Geneva have been productive ones, even the weekend where everything shuts down. The Bun handled the fog of jetlag the best amongst the three of us, probably because he napped on and off in the first two days and was usually too exhausted at the end of every day. Looks like The Bun has a new lovey in his life. It's a grey tabby cat from Gund and we spotted it at an atrium sale at 112 Katong. He immediately zoomed in on it, but I didn't want to buy it because he already has his beloved Cat-cat at home. My mother saw him clinging onto it so tightly and gave in.
